Shopping/Boycotting

There are multiple resources that can help make decisions on where to shop and what brands to buy.  

Boycat is a free app or extension that can help you search brands, scan products, and make ethical shopping choices.

No Thanks is a free app that allows users to scan barcodes and search for products to determine if they are associated with companies that are part of the boycott movement

Goods Unite Us is a free app or site you can use to help determine if a company donates to politics and who they donate to.

Contact your Representatives

Contacting your representative is one of many ways you can let your government at all levels know where you stand on topics and what you want done.  Your voice matters and should be heard.  Calling and doing an in person visit are the most powerful methods, but e-mail is also effective.  If you are nervous there are tools to help.

5 Calls is a app or website where you can enter your address and it will let you know who your representatives are. You can also pick topics that are important to you and if will provide promotes and background on the topic to help you decide what to say to your representatives.  When you can it is always best to personalize what you say.
