A week of rest and gratitude, part 5.

After the brutal political year we have all just endured, let’s take a moment (or a week!) to rest, and fortify ourselves for the battles ahead.  Nothing reminds us of our “why” like reflection and gratitude.

Today, send a huge thank you to New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman for his relentless pursuit of integrity and accountability.

“From getting the president’s charitable organization to admit self-dealing and shut down to collaborating with Robert Mueller’s investigation, you have shown exemplary leadership.  I appreciate you leading the charge in suing the FCC over the repeal of net neutrality and inspiring your colleagues across the country to protect Americans’ access to this vital utility. Thank you for your commitment to the good of our country.  Name, State, Party”

Address: Office of the Attorney General, 120 Broadway, New York, NY 10271

Rest up, do something that feeds your soul, and recommit to a plan of activism for the new year.  Remember why you do this work, and remember that you are not alone in doing it.  We will see you at our next meeting on January 22 at 6:30 PM!
