The Ohio House voted to override several of Governor John Kasich’s budget bill vetoes last week. Among the items they voted to override was a provision that could open Ohio’s public lands to harmful oil and gas drilling. Our friends at the Ohio Environmental Council have created a tool we can use to send a message to our state Senators, who also must approve these veto overrides before they can go into effect.
