Good Morning! Let’s get right to work this week. The health care bill is expected to come to a vote in the Senate as soon as Thursday. We need to do everything we can to make sure Sen. Portman votes no when that happens. Today, we are asking you to do 3 things:
1. Call Portman’s office. Focus on the opioid crisis, medicaid expansion, and the potential loss of jobs across Ohio in health industries if this passes.

2. Call Gov. Kasich. He has already publicly registered opposition to the health care bill. Ask him to take it a step further and call on Portman personally to do the right thing for Ohio. We need Ohio leaders to put pressure on the Senator to VOTE NO.

3. Stop by our phone bank this afternoon between 1-2:30 pm and make a few calls to other local elected leaders, asking them to publicly take a stance on the health care bill.
