Turner Contradicts Himself

Many of you have seen the TV ad running on WHIO that asks viewers to call Mike Turner to thank him for “taking on Nancy Pelosi” and “special interests”, for “standing with President Trump to repeal Obamacare now,” and to “keep his pledge to the voters to repeal Obamacare.”
Based on the state of Mike’s Dayton and DC voicemail boxes, I would say it has people calling. According to Turner’s office, Turner does not support this ad and he did not have a hand in producing its content.

Here is what Turner had to say about the ACA repeal in March.
“After numerous discussions with the White House and the Speaker’s office, in an attempt to improve this bill, including discussions today, I could not support the bill in its current form. This legislation will result in people in my community losing health care coverage. Therefore, I could not support it.”
